Strict inspection standards
Chamol’s production meets a wide range of customer specifications and applicable industry standards and implements the most advanced testing. Our inspection department was established in 2001, and now ten technicians specialize in inspection and testing. The internal structure of the raw material, the hardness and a metallographic group of the workpiece after heat treatment, the gear accuracy after gear grinding, and the scraping accuracy of bevel gears can be fully detected and controlled.

Dimensional Inspection
The dimensions of gears are critical for their performance and proper mating. Dimensional inspection involves measuring aspects such as outer diameter, inner diameter, and tooth width to ensure that the geometric dimensions of the gears meet the specified requirements.
Gear Profile Inspection
Gear profile inspection verifies whether the gear tooth profile adheres to design specifications. This includes checking parameters such as tooth tip, tooth root, tooth width, and pitch.
Tooth Profile Deviation & Tooth Flank Deviation inspection
The dimensions of gears are critical for their performance and proper mating. Dimensional inspection involves measuring aspects such as outer diameter, inner diameter, and tooth width to ensure that the geometric dimensions of the gears meet the specified requirements.
Hardness Testing
Gear hardness directly impacts wear resistance and longevity. Hardness tests help determine if the gear’s hardness distribution is uniform and if it meets the specified hardness requirements.
Material Inspection
Ensuring that the material used meets design specifications and possesses sufficient strength and durability.
Surface Quality Inspection
Inspecting the gear surface for defects such as cracks, scratches, and bubbles, and verifying if it meets the specified surface finish requirements.
Gear Compatibility Testing
If gears will be used in conjunction with other gears or components, compatibility testing ensures they match and operate smoothly together.
Gear Noise and Vibration Testing
These tests evaluate the noise and vibration levels generated by the gears during operation, ensuring that they do not produce excessive noise or vibration.
